I like this and prefer it over the specific "4 noble varieties", or dry or semi-sweet sherries. Goes well with a lot of stuff, many appetizers and certain desserts especially, but I usually enjoy it on its own.
I did a quick search for this subject and found just two references to it.
Hmm, do folks here like this variety of Madeira?
