Oooh, those look so good!  Adding to list.   Have you tried the dark chocolate chip?  Insane for a commercial cookie

Had the Famous Amos choc chip pecan a couple weeks ago.  One of my faves.  Not too many left that have the balls to use nuts.

Between Famous Amos and Mrs. Fields in the 70's I do not know how we still managed our hip huggers and crop tops. Heavily marketed i L.A.  Guess coffee and no real food. T'was a time.   have been craving the coconut biscuits like this but not around much anymore. Sorta like these https://asianmart.com/products/lotte-butter-coconut-sweet-biscuit-10-58oz300g?

We just discovered these new cookies:

They are maybe the best store bought cooky we’ve ever had.  They are like Pecan Sandies, if Pecan Sandies were made with butter.  They reminded us of cookies that I make called Dream cookies, but were more airy.

Shoprite of course did not have them.  In consolation I bought the dark chocolate chip variety.

Which exactly is new?  Is it Thin & Crispy cookies or is it the Butter Pecan variety?

Not sure.  Though I do notice that the other versions of Thin & Crispy (various chocolate chips) are easier to find in stores than the Butter Pecan.

I'm not a big cookie eater but the last thing I have every evening is 3 original Oreo Cookies.  They're just as good now as they were when I was 12.

Although there are many iterations of Oreos these day, I must have the 'original'....don't be screwing with my Oreos.

I had looked for those several times since the post about them. Finally found some today.  They are very good.  I can see myself buying those regularly.

Yep, i was at a couple of supermarkets today. Safeway didn't have them, but my Kroger affiliate did.   I got the only package they had, and it is disappearing fast.

I found them at my local Walmart Neighborhood Grocery Store. They had a lot in stock.

They are 30 cents more expensive than their regular cookies (the new Irish Cream Milanos also cost 30 cents more than the regular Milanos).

These Butter Pecans are very good. Very crispy and tasting of butter. I'd say it was more of a "pecan sandie" cookie than a Butter Pecan cookie since the Pecan wasn't very noticeable or evident. The pecan chunks aren't very large. I guess Pepperidge Farms had to save money somewhere.

One side effect..my fingers smelled of butter afterwards and it was a good thing. xD

I got more at Walmart a couple of days ago.  True, not much pecan in them.  The other thing I notice is how fragile these cookies are.  I don't think I've ever bought packages of cookies that had more broken than these.

Yes, they are quite crumbly. I don't know if you noticed but the usual paper cup that holds the cookies was replaced by a firmer plastic rectangle in the Butter Pecan bag. The top plastic cup did little to prevent the cookies in it from breaking/crumbling, but the cookies in the bottom plastic cup were all intact in the bag I purchased.
