I’m aware I may be coming off as a bit dopey, but 25% off is a real sale then?   That’s not just where the prices hang out?

I think you're really asking whether the "regular" price has been marked up to make "25% off" seem like a deal when it really isn't. I can't answer that question -- maybe someody else here can -- but have you looked at Camelcamelcamel.com for their price tracking? It's supposed to be an Amazon price tracker but it also comes up with 3rd party prices. Maybe it will help you. Camelcamelcamel Falk cookware query

Is 25% a real sale or is this the standard discount?

It's a real sale in the sense that it's annual.  Falk controls its marketing with an iron hand, and its pans rarely come up on the resale market.  The only other way I know to get any discount on Falk is their "Try Me" offer, the secret handshake being they will offer a comparable discount on most pieces, not just that tiny saucepan.

This is not like getting Le Creuset at 25% off MSRP.  Compare LC's prices in the US with ECI prices in Europe.  There are no similar price disparities between lines of bimetal fort copperware.

Thank you, sir.

Murrays Cheese is also running a 25% off sale.

It’s as good as you’re gonna get for Falk.  All the Falk pieces I have were purchased during one of their sales, but usually only 20% off.

Others beat me to it, but yes, a real sale.  Usually a couple times a year.  Unless something changed, Falk sells only from distributers and there are no dealers.

In addition, for each product line, a small 18cm saucier is almost always offered at a somewhat reduced price.  Think of it as crack -- or perhaps in this case pot.  I would dearly love the Fusion Try Me! 18CM saucier for Bearnaise.  But I've not assayed Bearnaise since I got sick, and I already have the 18cm saucier from the Classic line.  Not to mention I've not cooked on the stovetop since last spring.

I was thinking the exact same thing.... where could I put this (mostly because the bread machine Christmas gift will take up the remaining counter space we have).  I'm going to leave for work now so I can't be tempted....

I at least learned that ' creamy ' is also a scent .  but it beets me to what that scent smells like.

I'll hazard a guess:  highly artificial "fruit", like FrootLoops.  Now we need the same scent in fabric softener and deodorant.
