Were the potatoes baked, then fried or did you have both?

Fried first, then extra browned in the oven

Black pepper salmon with yu choy, mushrooms, and red bell peppers.  This was a recipe in a free magazine from Wegman's.  It was pretty tasty.

Sous Vide Chili Shrimp finished with a quick sear on a hot pan, cauliflower mac'n'cheese, stir-fried mixed veg, and a test pad of reheated frozen rice @Anna N

Loved the texture of the shrimp 😋. The frozen cooked rice reheated nicely. I kinda liked the "pad" shape!

Two recent dinners:

Lentil soup, made in the IP with brown lentils, ham and copious amounts of carrots.  Accompanied by a glass of LVC 2001 Zinfandel from the De Mayo vineyard.  Even though it peaked some time ago, it was still excellent.  Last bottle though.

Burgers, cooked SV then seared.  Served on a sesame seed bun with lettuce, pickles and homemade thousand island dressing.   Served with green beans (still trying to finish the Costco bag) and potato sticks from a can.

Did a corned beef in the slow cooker yesterday. Also tried a new recipe called "melting potatoes".  OH they were so good.  Crispy on the outside, creamy and, well, melty on the inside.  Will definitely make these again.

Thanks for that link, I’ve saved that recipe...it looks SO good!

Just trying to decide now whether to have burgers or hot dogs for dinner.

ETA:   Went with hot dogs.   An early dinner.  Grilled European Wieners and toasted the bun on the grill.   With onion rings on the side.

No, no Hellmann’s. I used the oil from the tuna can (tuna with chilli) and apple cider vinegar to dress it.
