Ninja Foodie air-fryer fish'n'chips with pickerel. It's a WW recipe - batter made with beer and egg white then coated with Panko crumbs.  Had the usual Glico Curry gravy and spicy ketsup.

Interesting - I'd never seen that chicken at Whole Foods, but it's been since March since I've shopped in one of the stores.

weinoo- I would look for it. I just dry brined one day and lightly salted again  before grilling. great flavor and the chicken was a normal shape and size. No huge breasts.

It sure looks like it's available via Amazon Fresh whatever (via WF). I haven't used this service yet.

Amazing how the high-quality chicken game/availability has been upped the last few years. The problem becomes does it end up like Perdue?

Nice! I've been thinking about air frying fish...

What's a WW recipe?  And what were the air fryer make and settings please.

A thought...maybe toast the panko to pre-brown them.

Weight Watchers. They do a lot of recipe testing that is more than decent. As to spokespeople think Jennifer Hudson, Oprah, Tina Fey, Jessica Simpson, Cat Cora,  Charles Barkley and many others.

Would you ever consider getting a plant light?  That way you can have your herbs year round.

Not a bad idea, but

a) Wouldn't know where to source one here.

b) In a way, I like the seasonality.

Living in a place with little seasonality I can appreciate that emotion.

My seasons tend to be water or drought.  Will wander out tomorrow and see what the recent long steady rains accomplished. Too cool for much mint revival but hoping for lemon verbena push. Silly rosemary just scoffs and keeps growing.

Oh sorry...WW = Weight Watchers.
I have only used one setting for my Ninja Foodie TenderCrisp - 390F
That's a good idea to brown the Panko crumbs. I'll have to make a note on the recipe!

Picked up several more packages of seasoned turkey drumsticks with price reduced stickers. Guess nobody want them after Xmas and NY.

Hubby ate a whole one while I cut a couple of pieces of mine. Eaten with sweet potato and peas.

Pretty cheap meal!

Recipe for the cabbage salad?

I assume you mean the Bavarian cabbage salad posted above ?

750 g thinly sliced cabbage

1 tsp salt

Massage the salt into the cabbage. Set aside at room temperature.

100 g bacon

1 small onion

Chop and fry at very low heat, just to render the fat out. No coloring or browing, please. Add the following:

1-2 tsp mustard (I use hot)

1 tsp caraway seeds

3 Tbsp white wine vinegar (or cider vinegar)

3 Tbsp oil

100 mL stock (veggie, or what you have in hand)

Mix thoroughly, then add warm mixture to the reserved cabbage. Mix again and let marinate for at least 2h at room temperature.

Before serving, check saltiness and add freshly ground black pepper & fresh parsley (or mixed herbs).

Salad will keep a few days in the fridge.

My two favorite French salades. I keep upping the mustard component, not that there's anything wrong with that.

On the hot plate: baked potato, roasted chicken thighs, sautéed escarole.

Description, please?

I'll guess carrots with thyme and oil/vinegar....and  cabbage with dill and caraway?
