Prune hamentashen...store bought, but from a local supplier and not bad. If only they had a little more flavor (vanilla) in the dough part...lost one corner in transit

Chinese style scrambled egg and tomato (番茄炒鸡蛋 - fān qié chǎo jī dàn)on flat bread with 龙须菜 - lóng shū cài; literally 'dragon's beard vegetable'.

Bodega Sandwich variation I've decided to call the Powerhouse Bodega (slightly scrambled eggs with tamari, black pepper, and nutritional yeast mixed in, with bacon, topped with melted cheese, on a Kaiser roll toasted in bacon grease)

@shain – that gooey toasted sandwich is perfection!

Yesterday was an ET bagel w/ smoked salmon cream cheese and hash brown patties topped with basted eggs:

Today:

A pancake leftover from a carry-out breakfast on Monday (an order is 3 pancakes and feeds me for 3 days) and a couple of IP eggs.

Made Moe breakfast using the leftover Chateaubriand from last night's dinner.
Caramelised onions and warmed the meat up in the leftover wine sauce and baked potato wedges in the CSO.
Served on homemade bread.

I REALLY need to be Moe.

I had planned to cook halibut for dinner last night, but wasn't hungry for a big dinner and Moe wasn't either.
So I made him the Prawn Cocktail.

Cooked the halibut for him this morning in a Halibut and Spinach Pie topped with mashed potatoes.

I layered the little casserole with cooked spinach and topped with the filet of halibut, leaving in one piece and
covered with a cream sauce and topped with mashed potatoes.

As you can see from the empty dish, Moe loved it.

What’s not to love? I’m sure I would have loved it too.

this AM it was banana pancakes / flapjacks . . .

cut a banana into about 1/8" thick / 3 mm slices - you'll need four per pancake, see pix - I need to count more carefully....

normal batter

pour then plunk banana slices in un-set batter - timing is everything, I only pour three pancakes at a time and immediately add slices.

flip as usual.

got tired of blueberries . . .

@Ann_T and @Margaret Pilgrim - I would be up for breakfast at y’all’s houses every single day of the week.  Both breakfasts were truly swoon-worthy!

@AlaMoi - great pancakes and you got such good color on the banana slices!

Yesterday:

Sage sausage, IP eggs, and a leftover carry out pancake.

This morning:

IMG_5262.jpg.f33e2e22c458135975e78bf2359a6f6e.jpg

Ham, scrambled eggs, a Belgian waffle, and L'Epicerie de Provence Fig syrup.  The waffle was purchased - brand name was Oakrun Farm Bakery.  Really good, though.

Looks great, I make these when my kids are over.  I put the sliced bananas on the griddle 1st then add the batter. Seems to work well either way, though.

Not to diss the food, but that plate is what catches my attention. It's beautiful!
