I had the intention of making tacos with these ingredients, but in the end, just went with this. Buttery crab meat, and corn salsa with corn, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, tomato, lime juice and salt.

We knew it wasn't your cooking--there are bell peppers in there!  ;)

@pattiI think that's the best bread pudding I've ever seen.

Ronnie's greenhouse cherry tomatoes are really doing well--thank goodness because it's been still to wet to plant our garden tomatoes!  We've never been this late and it's supposed to rain all this week too.  I think they will be ok, though, just a little later than normal.  So, all the cherry tomatoes you see are all Ronnie's --so sweet and good.

Pasta salad --our asparagus is really loving all the rain--with turkey sandwiches

Peony's are great this year too--this was yesterdays pick.  First radishes from the garden too.

Under ordinary circumstances, we’d have gone out for an anniversary dinner. 45 years, Happy Anniversary to us!

Surf and Turf. Dark chocolate bread pudding for dessert.

I picked the crabs ahead of time, as a kindness to my husband.

You know ... I have a tremendous amount of respect for people that like good food. Reaaaally a lot.

But this is over the top. You post this type of food porn again, I will complain to the moderators and put you on my retaliation list, should I even get my hand on some decent, fresh seafood 😋

Simple green fava beans in tomato sauce with spices - chili, garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander. Served with bulgur (lightly flavored with turmeric and nutmeg), lemony tahini sauce, onion.

Thanks! Bread pudding is not my favorite dessert, but it is a fave of my husband’s. Once I saw the recipe with dark chocolate, it felt like the perfect compromise.  It delivered.

In addition to that very fine collection of meals, you also have gorgeous peonies? I wish they grew here. So beautiful.

@kayb- He’s a pretty nice guy who deserves it! And thank you.

Your bread pudding looks amazing.   I love bread pudding. Might actually be my favourite.  I usually serve with a caramel sauce or a chocolate bread pudding with Creme Anglaise.

Garlicky shrimp, asparagus.  Garlic was microplaned into the skillet after shrimp was half way cooked.

Wait a sec, those are soft shell crabs you're frying up? Oh, that sounds amazing. And is that tarter sauce on that bun?

I think they're called scalloped potatoes. I sliced them and fried half in clarified butter with a bit of rosemary and garlic to get a crispy outer crust.
