Question:  why is it that liuzhou and chromedome post all the food funnies?  Where do they find them?  I have yet to find a food funny anywhere except on this thread.

My GF is currently on medical leave and spends a lot of time scrolling, so I benefit from her as a "research assistant." Some of 'em I find on Twitter while I'm waking up in the mornings.

Well, we don't post them all, but as for me 99% of mine just turn up in my Facebook or Twitter accounts. Why, I don't know. Maybe just odd friends!

I am pretty sure that kiwi pizza also showed up in @weinoo's social media feed, but contrary to @liuzhou he is committed to keep us in the dark on culinary advancements in that field ... 😜

This is not amusing.

Not amusing but oh so true. Is there one of us that it hasn't happened to? Usually more than once.

Praise to Anoia!*

*For those who haven't read Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels, his idiosyncratic pantheon includes Anoia, the goddess of stuck drawers.

Brenda

I whistfully mentioned how I missed sushi. Truly horrified, she told me "you city folk eat the strangest things!", and offered me a freshly fried chitterling!

We actually did this one Christmas.  All the beds were full of guests and we put an air mattress in the kitchen to sleep on because Jessica (age 8) insisted we shouldn't sleep in the living room because it might interfere with Santa's visit.  My cat left a dead mouse beside me.  He'd refrained from eating the head and feet (his favorite parts), so I have to assume it was intended as my Christmas breakfast.
