Some of the worst chocolate I've had (that was supposed to be good chocolate) came from a bulk bin in Whole Foods.

those look like proper tacos

They were indeed! Though @Alleguede was shocked by the green beans and potatoes on a couple of his.

So we wandered out this evening in search of a drink. Hotel bar is noisy with weird lighting. As we were returning from our Trader Joe’s run earlier we passed a restaurant attached to the FIG facility where the Festival was held - it looked inviting. So we headed there - turns out to be an Argentinian steak house called 348.

Now what do you drink at an Argentinian joint? Caipirinha of course!

I thought I did that a long time ago... maybe it was the lack of an official ceremony. :D

It's kinda like wrestling a gorilla... you don't stop when you're tired, you stop when the gorilla is tired.

@Alleguede said of his sample - "this is chicken?" To be fair - he is French.

just to put in my two cents :

Chicken Fried Steak

when done well ,

is delicious

otherwise

chewy ( for the CFS )  and gloppie ( for the gravy )

too bad yours was not decent.

BTW

those tacos really did look like the real deal

green beans aside.
