I'll try not to do what I did this morning. Lose my kettle.

Did you check all your garbage bins? The last time that I lost my car keys, I found them in the freezer. It's more frustrating when you live in a small apartment and there aren't that many places to put it.

I just found it in a cupboard I would have sworn I haven't opened in a year. Definitely poltergeists at work.

My fridge is warmer than the kitchen at the moment!

I will never again bleed allover my amazon delivery two days in a row.

Can we get a nanny-cam live stream set up at Jo's?  Totally for her safety, not at all for our entertainment. ;)

I'm afraid that would look like a Perpetual Loop of the Chainsaw Massacre.

Full disclosure:  two days ago I barely bled a bit opening the box.  Yesterday I hemorrhaged all over the delivery.

I shall never again drop a can of Progresso Manhattan Clam Chowder on my foot as all the toilet paper falls from the closet.

Can was unopened at least?!

I shall never again forget that at temperatures above boiling my Paragon shuts down as a safety feature after half an hour.  Dinner may be delayed.

  • 2 weeks later...

I shall never again bleed all over my curry.

No, I didn't cut myself.  I was breaking apart a bulb of garlic and I broke apart my thumb.

If one must splash boiling tomato sauce over one's face, it is good to be wearing glasses.

Well that sounds awful. Are you okay? Maybe you should try a balaclava when cooking hot soups or sauces and rawhide gloves when separating cloves of garlic. Also I hope you are not one of those people who cook barefooted.

If only my kitchen floor were cleaner.

Jo, my prob is just as bad. I read the instructions for cleaning everything with soap and water, including the water reservoir, . . . and I've scratched everything!

I shall never again exsanguinate myself all over the dinner plate.  I know how clotting is supposed to work, I just wish it would.

Exsanguination is such a lovely-sounding word for such an inconvenient occurrence.

...and I'll be hearing it all morning, as sung by Carly Simon (to the tune of "Anticipation," of course).
