The one thing my granddaughters like more than a dip is a choice of dips. Do a taste test with them and give them three dipping sauces to pick from. Then let them rate them on a scale of something: flavor, dipworhiness, whatever is fun. Although I don't eat chicken nuggets I can imagine that honey-mustard or duck sauce might be a hit. The girls will dip just about anything in guacamole if it isn't too spicy. They also will drink soy sauce out of the bottle if given the chance, so Asian style dips that include soy sauce might appeal. A mild BBQ sauce would work. Then you can upgrade them to paprika aioli or hot queso.

I was at a trade show and received the pictured items. I suspect that the jar contains chili crisp (as we call it in the US) but I'm not sure what either item is or how I should use them. Please help. @liuzhou

Sorry no picture. Used white meat from a leftover Costco rotis chicken for a chicken salad sandwich. I remembered when shopping that many moons ago I used to add halved or quartered seedless green grapes to my chicken salad (along with green onion and toasted pecans). Served it on toasted croissants. A cool and refreshing sandwich...yesterday Tucson hit 112. Only going to 105 today. 🌡️🌡️ 🌡️🌡️

I'm in clean out the fridge mode before vacation. Last night we had a NY Times recipe for Berbere brown sugar chicken. Berbere brown sugar chicken I added all of the remaining CSA carrots I had languishing in my fridge to the dish. All the carrots except one were a deep purple, which ended up changing the color of the dish. It looks more like a beef stew than a chicken dish. My nephew thought the brown sugar (which I halved) and the orange juice made it too sweet. My niece thought the Berbere spice blend (Penzey's) was too spicy! I cannot win haha. The rest of us liked it. Served with spiced rice and some flatbread I made to use up the last of an open container of yogurt.

Im with Rotus. Prime day used to be a big deal, particularly just before Christmas. Now it’s the same stuff over and over, mostly junk

Little crampons and carabiners I'd say.

I have an earlier Creami; the capacity of the containers is 2 cups. I just kinda eyeball things. Yesterday I prepped, but haven’t yet spun, lemon sorbet, peach sorbet (with canned peaches in light syrup), and nectarine sorbet with, well, real nectarines. Each batch prepared was slightly more than the max fill line, but don’t have a big problem with that. I enjoy using different boozes, so for the lemon I used gin, the peach bourbon, and the nectarine - Apry. I expect they’ll all be edible.

Your Daily Sweets: What Are You Making and Baking? (2017 – )
Pete Fred replied to a topic in Pastry & Baking
I guess if you're gonna have cake for lunch then you might as well go all-in and have cake for dinner, too... This is the Midsummer cake that @OlyveOyl mentioned a few posts back, here made with nectarines and raspberries. It was a nice cake, particularly where the edges crisped against the tin. Next time I'd probably use a different berry to reduce the moisture. It went well with more of that mahleb cream... And for dessert (!) a fruit salad cobbled together from several of my trees: figs, red and yellow plums, and cherries (plus nectarines, raspberries and an orange) macerated and lightly sweetened with mead and vanilla sugar... oh, and look, more of that whipped cream... Tomorrow I'm going carnivore. -
BB&B went bankrupt . They tried to restructure in bankruptcy , to no avail . Their remaining assets were sold off during bankruptcy , to pay off creditors. Another independent company bought the rights to the name , and the font . and started a new on-line business. WSJ .

After talking to several Amazon people, I still don't know why they won't ship to Canada when they say they will. They even have import charges showing. In the end, when I add it all up and do the exchange rate conversion, buying it no longer makes sense. I'll wait until GE starts selling them here. Not that I'm going to buy one, mind you, but more as an um, curiosity.

You are right, I did not know this. Their Canadian site won't be ready until 2026. I always liked shopping there and i will hope to again.

No, but I ate all of it. Scaling a can of mango sounds messy.

I looked into it and discovered that they closed their brick and mortar stores but still offer online shopping: https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/

Sorry to have missed this. I enjoyed a number of interactions with John over the years. May his memory warm the hearts of those he loved and be a blessing forevermore.
