I'm tofu challenged. I have a block at the moment pressed and now marinating. Sometimes good, sometimes meh. (as long as it not the star of the dish). I'm thinking of roasting low and slow in the oven. (adding to a noodle bowl)

Your plating is in focus. I know you often have trouble with your phone or camera. Looks great!

I usually prefer the Löwensenf brand, and their sharp variety. But I am trying to get little one into mustard, so currently I am buying the milder and slightly less acidic Thomy medium sharp …

The Lion brand sharp is different frm Dijon incl the TJ brand.. Sharper and a different flavor profile to me. Plus being a complete sucker for glass jars - it has multiple appeals.

I have a Napoleon grill.  They are made in Canada.  Sizzle zone or IR is awesome.  Something like 1200 F.  Good for steaks.  The regular gas grill area is very even in heat.  Love it.  My friend put it together for me.  It came in a big box.  She loves doing that kind of stuff.  When she was all done I got handed a bag of screws that she couldn’t find a place for….maybe they provide “extras”.🤪  it hasn’t fallen a part yet.

Id suggest the unlikely event that these were PhotoShopped .

 

personally roasted marshmallows required a significant amount of

 

black char .  ' avticfted charcoal ;  if you will .

 

Im hoping this is not the Advent of A.I.

No, these are correct, according to my husband, who has the patience of Job in carefully watching and turning a marshmallow to it caramel perfection.    Me?    I scorch, to his disdain and disgust.

I thought the same but the child must have patience to get them so evenly caramel brown perfect. They are fun when the outside is a bit darker and you sort of lift that off (pulling up) and savor the dark and then pull off the creamy interior. I have loads of experience.

Knoedel (German dumplings) with Rahmspinat (creamed spinach) and sour radishes - there are two types of German dumplings - either bread or potato based. These ones are made with mashed potatoes, dried morrels, shallots, egg yolk, corn starch and nutmeg. Served with spinach briefly cooked in cream, shallots, garlic and nutmeg. And with radishes marinated in white wine vinegar, caramelized sugar and coriander seeds.

Sounds like a comfort meal. I always knew Rahm as sour cream.
