I am with the others. I can’t smell a rat ... but damn I can see one. Have barely started my first coffee and I detect eyes and a nose and a tail etc. Egads.

I too thought the same thing.  Just about snorted my tea through my nose.

Hope you have a great day today.

I’ll try! Apparently it hasn’t been leaking for the past two weeks. I will come looking for you this morning

Breakfast this am -

I did a double-take before I realized that you’re in an Airbnb and that you can make your own breakfasts. Thank heaven no rats were harmed in the making of it!

So last night I was not in fit condition to post. So I decided I would wait until this am.

We were a group of 12 so decided that Cantonese would suit everyone - we'd make the vegetarians in the group happy because they often get the short end of the stick when eating with us. We opted for a spot close by to the venue that we had been to last year and been happy with our food.

Once again the drink menu amused us greatly so we had to take a picture.

Everyone was very cooperative in passing the dishes down to me for the obligatory picture before digging in.

An Uptown Sling - not quite sure what the 'bunch of other stuff' was - but it had a decidedly licorice flavor

That is a very amusing drinks menu! And the parting shot of a fortune! The food looks great.

Should be dead easy to whip up a couple of these at home. The only thing you need for sure is Elliot bay rum after that it’s just stuff.

Did the eggs with breadcrumbs mentioned  in the breakfast thread - our Airbnb has a magic bullet and we had yesterday’s bread

One of Bhavani's many cousins - a couple of whom now run a chocolate company in India growing beans and also making their own bean to bar. The 70% ran out early - but it was excellent.

why don’t they wrap the bananas?

Why did they wrap the apples?  I’m guessing because you eat the skin of the apples but not the skin of bananas?
