Was on the fence but remembered that I have a VISA gift card that can only be used on line.  Like @kayb, I won’t add up all my enabled purchases.  CSO, Instant Pot, Anova and way too many Kindle books.  Got the 25.

In 2017, they did a 50% off special in the summer and a free-shipping special (no discount) in December.

I have the 20 and 25 paella pans in my cart and am dithering on adding a 25 sauté pan.  I already have old style 20 and 23 pans and a 10.5 inch cast iron pan so I'm not sure....

 

Edited to add that I stopped dithering and added the 25 pan to my order. Done.:D

they may not reveal their long term plans ..

Well turns out that option is just for people in Argentina with Argentine credit cards. I went a bit wild buying rum at Astor Wine last week so I might have to buy just two pans...

Pulled the trigger in the nick of time on a 25 and 27. Hoping the 25 becomes my perfect spanish tortilla pan! I was debating the 20 pan and the 34 paella but I think I'll use them less - seems that Darto often offers discounts so maybe later!

 A spanish tortilla is more like a fritata. Layered potatoes and egg mostly. Jose Andres famously makes one with hydrated potato chips.

I may be a heretic for this, but I love to add some sausage (chorizo, andouille, etc.) and some cheese. Preferably Manchego or Idiazabal. Yum.

 

Oh, and green onions. No bell peppers, though. :P

nothing wrong w adding stuff you like.

 

its just not aTortilla Española anymore.

 

tasty as it is w more stuff.

 

BTW :  in Spain , at least Back Then 

 

a picnic in the Country was a national pastime :

 

any field would do outside of the City or Town

 

and the T.E.  was a staple  almost everywhere.

 

I don't think anyone ever made one.

 

not going on a picnic anytime soon ?

 

a major constituent RoomTemp for those who took their lunch with them or a snack in the afternoon
