I have no idea what that pattern is called or who the manufacturer could be, but I think it's a very handsome design.

It would go beautifully with my hammered-steel Paderno pots. :)

I have written to Replacements.com one more time, with a link to this forum posting for pictures.

Fingers crossed!

World Market Hammered Flatware

World Market's is a round design, though I haven't seen the logo on it.

good match, but I don't think this is it, because VW puts her name on EVERYTHING and this has no name.

I'm back to square one.  I've written to Replacements.com and asked once again, with no response. Oh I got the 'thank you for your question' auto response, and I got the 'welcome to Replcements.com' email both promising a response in  a couple of days. But then, Nothing.  Please, keep an eye out for this logo, it's a little thing, but it's driving me crazy. LOL

I must have shamed someone into actions.  I heard back from Replacements.com....they are unable to match the pattern or brand.  Sheesh.

keep me in your thoughts whenever you're looking at flatware.

May I ask what drives your quest?  Are you missing a piece?

You say that it came with no box.  Came from where?  Did you buy it at a store or a yard sale or what?  And where did you get it (geographically)?  My everyday stainless is Gorham - I have no idea of the pattern, but I know I got it at Costco.  I would guess that it was made for Costco to sell and I wouldn't expect it to be available anywhere except maybe ebay.

We use a very similar looking pattern from a different brand.

Yes, very similar, but the handles are very straight.

We live in Missouri, and it came from a thrift store.  My efforts are to find the brand as well as the pattern name so that should be need more in the future, we can consider ordering it.  Replacements.com has no idea.  I have no idea.  I'm just hoping that someone somewhere will know the logo or the pattern.  Maybe even have the same stuff.

Perhaps these people can help, but with literally thousands of cutlery manufacturers in China, maybe not. Worth a try, though.

Here's a list of some resources that may be worth a shot.

If all else fails, reddit communities are always worth a shot. You never know what type of experts are waiting around for a post like this. Here's the subreddit for hallmarks.

One thing to keep in mind is that sometimes "designer" or name brand flatware is also sold under different names.

My everyday flatware is Crate and Barrel's "Oona," which they discontinued ages ago. Turns out it's a Cambridge Silversmiths pattern -- they didn't even change the name. I think CS has discontinued it as well at this point, but when I first discovered that, CS were still making it.

Because I've been following this topic, Amazon is sending me links to silverware here. Looks similar to yours?

VERY close, but no.  Ours has patterning on the back, and there is nothing imprinted on ours, not even Stainless steel.  Thank you though.

Based on the accuracy of the advertising of some items that I have ordered from Amazon, this could still be the source of your silverware, though! 😜

Not sure I understand what you mean.  It's not the same, so why would I consider this the source?

Not a serious suggestion.  Just a commentary on the reliability of descriptions and pictures on Amazon.

I don't know that the actual model number will matter greatly, they're all pretty similar in how they operate. If you poke around you might find a plate somewhere on the unit that gives a model number and date of manufacture.

If you're looking for some operating instructions or suchlike, just Googling "Berkel" slicer manual filetype:pdf should get you what you're looking for. These are a few of the top results:

https://www.alfaco.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/919-Manual.pdf

https://resources.itwfeg.com/sites/resourcecenter/kroger/TechnicalServiceManuals/909-919 Technical Manual.pdf

https://assets.centralrestaurant.com/pdfs/docs/515-238-OWNR.pdf

Just poke around until you find one that looks like your machine, and go with it.

Usually (always?) there's a plate with electrical specifications and the model would be listed - on the bottom or inside?

yeah, It's completely devoid of markings.  There's a number in the main body casting ("F  25660   37"),  and that's the only marking I've found on it.  I expect it's going to need a few parts, and I don't know how universal they'll be.  At the absolute minimum, it's going to need feet.  Probably a set of sharpening stones, and possible a blade.    Also, god, it's heavy.

Perhaps I am being overly simplistic but why not contact the parent company. I was gonna ask dad but he is more familiar with Laska. .

Berkel is covered by fellow ITW Food Equipment Group division Hobart Service. With more than 100 locations and a whopping 1,500 factory-trained service technicians throughout both the US and Canada, Hobart Service offers invaluable, world-class assistance in keeping your food equipment in optimal running condition.

I will, but ITW are awful about anything they didn't make.  I've also had horrible dealings with their service departments ("you can't buy parts, you have to have them installed by our service people.  Oh, you're not a commercial user, we can't service you." is not atypical).
