Stuffed with? Always looking for "squid ideas."

This game frustrates me - a lot of the answers are a stretch if they are supposed to be food/culinary terms.

I have made a committment to myself that starting in December, I'm going to do birthday cake kits for our local food bank. I hate the thought of any child going without a birthday cake. A kit contains a 9x13 foil pan, a box of cake mix,a can of pop/soda (which can sub for the oil and eggs called for in the cake mix instructions) a can of frosting, a package of candles, some sprinkles and a package of balloons and maybe streamers or some little toys. For December, I will focus on Christmas, with red and green sprinkles and balloons and streamers. Just waiting to hear back from the food bank as to whether or not I can include sprinkles re-packaged in baggies.

Sounds like a great idea!

I have noticed that this year there has been a lot fewer birds in my garden. I don't think it's because of bird flu. Then a neighbor mentioned that there have been some new bad birds in the area bullying local birds and even eat their nestlings. So I planted birdhouse gourds and hope that birdhouse gourd bird houses can give some protection to local birds. dcarch

OMG...talk about dΓ©jΓ vu. I typed in 'casseroles' content titles only, and up popped "My favorite casserole/one dish meal recipe" started by yours truly in 2014. Perhaps we should resurrect that topic and post there with our favorites. I see that several of us did post to that topic. What say you? Or a better more timely route to take?

Me too, please?

Yes, I was going to suggest a ristra: How to dry chile peppers, plus how to make a ristra (clicky)

"To further protect Canadians, the CFIA has announced temporary restrictions on imports of pistachios and pistachio-containing products from Iran. " Yay our team!

I'll pm them to you.

I've never used the recipe functionality of the CF, ever. It's really worthless imo. But that's not something that concerns me because aside from that the unit is so amazing.
-
Late reply but I have to laugh at this comment. Not sure if you are talking about the CF or the CF home. If the full CF it's well worth more than $700. The "home" is likely worth it as well considering the alternatives and Breville's quality. The CF is the best kitchen appliance I've ever purchased by far. I have two, paid near retail years ago, and both are running like they are brand new with daily use (going on 9 years).

I didnβt actually get this yet, but I was told that I won a βPantry Glow-upβ giveaway offered on Maggie Hoffmanβs Dinner Plan Substack. It includes a copy of Samin Nosratβs book Good Things and a bunch of little food items. I donβt know if theyβll be teensy tiny samples or a little larger but it should be fun in any case. Iβll report back when I receive it.

@KennethT I think you have found an effective , cheap , local method. string them up !

Wow, down below 30% here already, but the (dry) heat's been on constantly since the temps outside dropped below 60β.
-
It's been a few decades since I grew peppers, but I would take a needle and thread and make a garland (for lack of a better term) which I could then hang up to dry.
