The menu lists them as "Honey Apple Prawns, coated in a sweet mayo paired with five spice crisped apple" - wonder if you could riff off that.

I could rip that off.

Dropped in to Trader Jo's which is about a block and half from my hotel. Mike checked me out - we had a lovely chat.

They have their own brands of single malt!

Here's my haul from Trader Jo's - dinner tonight was corn chips with salsa - binned the guac cause it didn't appeal. Going to work on the wine when it chills a bit. Along with an nice cup of tea with some milk.IMG_4152.thumb.jpg.370b12553ade89a98d3bf5d452ed4812.jpg

Here's my haul from the FFS.

If I'm not mistaken Midnight Moon is available near here.  What did you think of it?

Loved it!

My breakfast

That is one lovely looking pear.

How was the green cheese with the organic coconut cream? It doesn’t sound all that appetizing.

It was actually quite nice - liked it better than the other with the honey.

Met up with @alanamoana and we wandered off to see the Feve production facility. We were a little early so we stopped at an interesting pottery producer that is adjacent to the Tartine facility (which I forgot to take pics of). This picture is for @patris to admire the glaze!

Pic with a satisfied EZtemper customer that I approached at the show last year. Says he can't live without it!

Michael suggested the Eureka in the Castro and his hubby Curtis met up with the 3 of us.

Two of us had the fried chicken.

Saw this lovely installation on the uber back to the hotel.

So you can see the reason that I didn't post my meals yesterday was attributable to the 3 drinks I had! That's about 2 over my limit - and the reason I posted breakfast twice.

I was hoping someone would have meat loaf, so I could see what a $21 meat loaf entree looked like. I love me some meat loaf, but...

There's no such thing as a $21 meat loaf entrée in my world. The only way I'd pay $21 for a meat loaf plate is if it came with a steak on the side. :D

Perhaps they hide foie gras inside it.

I must shamefully admit that that wouldn't sweeten the deal for me at all.
