It turns out that getting a shout-out from Justin Trudeau at the United Nations is pretty good for business. Who knew?

Wonderful story and I so hope just the first of many!  We need good news and happy endings like that so badly right now.

I read that article n Saveur as well.  Great story and I was so happy to read that family is doing so well.  I went to their web site but it isn't up and running yet.  When it is, I will be placing an order.

I am an immigrant (to US) myself.  Left USSR to have better life.  Can't imagine what horrors these people left behind.  Always so happy to see that anyone can succeed in the Free world if they work hard.

And of course food does not require translation.

My mom's a big fan of their chocolate, and stocks up on it after the major holidays when it gets marked down. :)

I am reminded I was acquainted with a caterer who had fled Hungary during the revolution.  He had been a physician in the old country.  Once upon a time I was tasked with arranging a luncheon for an eminent Hungarian biochemist.  I did what I had to do.  Though I was reprimanded for the cost.
