Planning: eG Chocolate and Confectionery Workshop 2016

Ok then - we will be holding the workshop, the show and tell and the Saturday night dinner at Alleguede's soon to be opened patisserie/cafe. 

 

There will be a nice big chocolate room, garland stove, walk in, couple of Selmi's, Mold'arts, guitar cutter, spray guns...

 

This will be the first time I don't have to bring my entire chocolate room along for the ride.

Melissa, I probably will be able to share a room. A friend is considering coming but if she decides not to, I'd be happy to split a room. Should know in a week or two.

I'm thinking about joining the fun this year, along with my sister. She's still making up her mind (she's never done any of this stuff before and while it's interesting to her, she's afraid she'll feel out of place. I keep telling her it's a no-pressure thing with all sorts of nice people!) and there's an outside chance a work trip will prevent me from coming, so I guess please put us down as tentative. I hope it works out!

Speaking with Renee at Chocolat-Chocolat in Montreal today - she will be again sending us wonderful stuff for the workshop as she has every year - and I will contact her the last week of April to let her know final numbers. It occurs to me that if people want to order from CC that they do so before the last week of April and ask them to put it in the shipment to me - I'll then bring it along to the workshop. Will save on shipping especially for those coming from across the border.
