Before the Euro, they used to separate guilders and centen with an apostrophe in the same way we place a period between dollars and cents.  Looks like they are writing their prices the same way as in pre-euro days.

Here in the US we use the decimal point as the radix (integer to fraction) separator. Europe uses the comma.

I was referring to the "Tosti's" and "Panini's". Using an apostrophe incorrectly in the plural/possessive/contraction categories is my pet grammar peeve.

ETA: The pastries are gorgeous. I'll take two each of the macarons.

Are the condoms particularly good?  Asking for a friend...

So we had a good wander through the store tonight - it states carefully that these are purely for 'decorative purposes' and that they will give you a regular condom with every purchase.

They also have the most delightful condom sizing video - it's hilarious - I'll bet it's available online on the stores website.

The Dutch love their whipped cream and other dairy products. Cheese!

Kerry did your hotel breakfast include smoked fish? Was there a section of sweet bread toppings... chocolate sprinkles, apple syrup, hazelnut spread, etc.? Looks like a nice breakfast selection. Hope you get to show us the rest of it soon.

When does/did your setup for the show start?

We cabbed out to Chocolate Makers this afternoon - we were unexpected, the owners were on holiday this week so we dropped in on the rest of the staff who, once they figured out why we were there, were very accommodating (and quite relieved when they figured out we knew something about chocolate and they didn't have to explain from scratch).
