Cripes, eynkiora! That made my skin crawl! I can't even bring myself to repost the first picture, which I deemed the worst of the two.

I'm going to have nightmares. I vote eynkiora's pictures as the new worst (best?) of the bunch!

Eynkiora, That looks like a blackened wild boars head, complete with tusks and eyes!

I love glass noodles, I love pho, I love shitake's, and I love all the trimmings that go with it. Should go well together right!?

The taste was out of this world, you just had to close your eyes to the horrible colors............easier said than done. If I didn't know what any of that stuff was, there is No way I would have put it into my mouth!

I whistfully mentioned how I missed sushi. Truly horrified, she told me "you city folk eat the strangest things!", and offered me a freshly fried chitterling!

I am laughing so hard, I might wet my pants!!!

That mushroom in the middle is positively, hideously, grossly pornographic (and I don't mean food-porn!)

Either I have an overly active imagination, or that 'shroom needs a hit of viagra!

There is just something so........."klingonesque".about that noodle dish

Klingonesque!?! That is a very special nerd word - you have exposed yourself! Take two Romulan ales and go to bed.

I should take a picture of my morning oatmeal sometime, the cinnamon (or something) makes it a kind of brownish grey colour, and oatmeal isn't that attractive to begin with :P

Looks like what Medusa's head would have looked like if a wild bird decided to turn it into a monster nest of some kind :laugh:

At the risk of offending those of you who may enjoy this ingredient, I have to say that the thing on the bottom, slightly to the right looks a lot like the pig uteruses available in Chinatown.

I like to bake nice things. And then I eat them. Then I can bake some more.

People eat pig uteruses?! Wait...people actually eat UTERUSES?!

Ok because of Lindacakes recent education, I just looked it up -trying to see if it was in fact true (hey, I'm shocked) -and this is what I found:

The cooked uterus also had a foul smell that grew worse with each passing day. It kind of smelled like sour milk.

...ok...

you can read more (and there's a picture of it) here: http://www.starchive.com/Fear_Factor/gross...12_uterus.shtml

It does look similar............I bought some for a halloween party "fear factor"contest. I boiled it, along with various other disgusting things. Stunk up the entire house for days!!!!!

This is breakfast, most mornings (although there's usually fruit in it). Looks pretty unappetizing, but tastes good, and gets me through my morning classes :raz:

I've never taken a picture of a meal I've made for myself, but this one was so utterly heinous that as soon as I plated it, I immediately grabbed my camera with the intention of posting on this thread.

That gray goo was actually quite delicious....it's an avgolemono sauce (water + egg + lemon juice + hot sauce, whisked over low heat, and finished at the end with a wee bit o' butter) that went wrong in 2 ways:

1. I decided to make in a cast iron skillet instead of enameled cast iron. (color)

2. I let it sit for a few minutes while I took a phone call, and I should have remembered how well cast iron retains heat. (texture)

Just wanted to provide sketchy details in case you too want to create your own horrific masterpiece!

Why the hell is it grey!?

I understand how it could burn, or perhaps get a bit off colour, but it looks like you've got Photoshop going on in your pans - Desaturating your sauces.

Please take a quick look at my stuff.

The gray through me off a bit too. It sticks out like a sore thumb in the picture.

I'm currently trying a new colon cleanser and I feel great.

Are you drinking enough water ?
