Bags and other items like these have beeen around for years in China and Japan. Nothing new.

Two images I happened to save. Can't remember why but I know it was about two years ago and they weren't new then.

Are these sold internationally? Some of them would be great to put on a luggage tag!

However I think designers are getting a bit campy with the food themed accessories worn by people who are likely on the ozempic train.

Instead of eating what you’d want, just wear accessories if the foods people deny themselves. It’s a conundrum.

I don't know, but the images are from a wholesaler's catalogue. There is a minimum order of 50 for some of them, so I suppose if someone wanted to buy / sell them internationally, it would be possible.

The plastic bags of roast chook served up by grocery stores are known as "batchelor's handbags" here.

Emma Buswell was the winner of the City of Joondalup 2022 Invitation Art Prize for her work, ‘The sometimes luxury handbag and other suburban fables.’

This is a Fendi “bag charm”. It takes me back to playing the same game about predictions while laying on a jungle gym in the sun as a kid.

I likely will not buy it, I have never bought a bag  charm but it is tempting

I also saw a post on Reddit that was an actual baguette where the crust of the bread was somehow preserved and coated in some type of polymer (I’m guessing) that is sold out in various countries for about $3500.

I’ll keep looking for it. I like nice things but the day I would even spend a cent to make something like this? Sign me up! 🤣

I couldn't resist these. They were being sold as hair clips for women but I can use them as tie clips on the once a decade occasions I wear ties.

$1 a piece - minimum order, two. I never wear two ties. One is more than enough. Ridiculous garments.

Some monstrous, fiendish demonic psychopath from the bowels of depravity has designed a new range of t-shirt and shorts combo. And the UN is doing nothing about it! It shouldn’t ought to be allowed!

I apologise from the heart of my bottom for displaying this sacrilegious, toxic perversion here but it is an emergency! The end is nigh!

When's your birthday? I would dearly love to find some of these and send you some. You would be the roast of the town, I mean the toast of the town. You would have every donkey in China following you.

I gave them up a long time ago. I'd had too many!

But following that disgraceful interlude, may I recommend some hair bands or whatever you call them?

or perhaps a new neck decoration.

As to birthdays, I finally found the solution. I found out that giving them up entirely doesn't work because the family insists on recognizing them, but. If someone can change their gender at will why can't you change your birthday. I did just that. My birthday is now February 31st.

Love the headbands but the croissant could get mistaken for dandruff with all its flakiness and I'm flaky enough. And I'm allergic to bananas. As to the necklace, the only way I like pretzels is dipped in chocolate and that could get kind of messy.

I have much the same problem, but it comes from Chinese friends. My b'day in Chinese style is 5-20, which is a code word for "I love you" in Chinese. Somehow my students all remember it  is also my b'day! I never told them when it was.

If I find more headbands what would you prefer. I'm looking for a lobster!

Is your birthday May 20th? Mine is May 21st. I guess you'll have to go for February 30th.

My preferred style of headgear would be something in feathery flamboyance like the victorians wore. Either that or something quietly understated like a nice coiled cobra. I just can't imagine wearing food on my head.
