HOST'S NOTE: eG-friendly Amazon.com purchase link.

Hello Everyone.  I’ve decided to create a separate thread for this as not to muddy up the

CSO thread.  It arrived this afternoon from California and is resting comfortably next to

the CSO.  I will add more photos and some dimensions as time permits.

If you have questions, let me know and I’ll try to get some answers for you.

This will be slow going.  I’m overwhelmed with things that need doing right now.

My countertop is 49” L X 24” W X 18” H.  I haven’t fired it up yet but understand that it doesn’t vent out the back or upwards.

Everything is bigger, just like in Texas!!  We’ll see if it is better.

How can you govern a country which has 246 varieties of cheese?

Looking forward to hearing more about them; I stumbled across the brand a few weeks ago.

I'll be interested to hear your reviews. Looks like it'll hold a quarter sheet pan. Yes?

Don't ask. Eat it.

I don’t own a quarter sheet pan.  I’ve read that they are 9” X 13”.  If that’s correct, then yes it would fit.

The rack in this measures 12” X 15”.

My dirty pizza pan measures 12”.  It barely fits in the CSO, and has plenty of space in the new one.

One thing I notice, the water reservoir is largely enclosed. That would help keep algae from growing in it

on my CSO , I cover the water tank w a towel.

but I sense the algae might add a little " Green " flavor

to the item(s)  being steam-baked .

Green is good, no ?

@rotuts I do the same thing with a towel when I'm not using the CSO - so far, no problems with algae.  And by the way, green is definitely NOT good when it comes to machines' internal mechanisms!!! ha!

I have the PDF of the owners manual.  I’ll try to upload it today.

From the manual:
4. Allow adequate ventilation space on all sides of the oven and do not place any object on top of the oven. Keep a minimum distance of 2 inches between the steam oven and any overhead objects and a minimum distance of 1/2 inch between the sides of the oven and the wall or other objects

I have the required 2” clearance to my upper cabinets.

This is the drip tray. Don’t overlook it against the white styrofoam packaging or you will have to open the packaging again.
It arrives in an outer cardboard box over an inner cardboard box over a styrofoam container.

It looks like a toy next to the new one.
I’m in the early stages of using the F. Blumlein and I miss the rotary dial.

Thanks for your posts. Please try and make tea (in a mug) -- something I currently use my microwave to do. Google is not helping me find out if this machine can boil water.

watch out for that hot mug handle though!!!

I think it would be a lot more efficient and faster to heat the water in a small pan on the stove top, rather than in an oven. I'm sure that would take forever.  Heat the water in the pan, pour into the cup and put in the tea bag and steep.

I think there was a joke in there somewhere

which might have been missed

due to the Lust for a Bigger CSO

not of course , a Top of the Line Joke

one Id laugh so hard at

Id fall off my chair

and break my neck

so thanks for that

I did not make toast.  When I do, I’ll post a pic.  I don’t think there is a dedicated toast setting, so

I’ll have to create one.  I believe that a certain number of user created programs are available.
