Sashimi tuna with seagrass for breakfast? Why not?

Why not indeed.  I would love that for breakfast.

I didn't make the intended dinner last night so I made it this morning.

Please note - a black plastic spatula was used - and we are still alive!

A lemony, dilly yogurt sauce accompanied these.

@Kerry Beal Fritters or pancakes?

The recipe calls them pancakes - sautéed onions and shredded cabbage, dill, cottage cheese, eggs, a bit of whole wheat flour. I think of a fritter as something deep fried, but these aren’t reminiscent of a regular American pancake in any way.

I spotted the black plastic spatula right away. Glad to know you're still with us! 😉

Some recent breakfasts including this morning's.

I've been eating a lot of fish and seafood lately and it is one of my favourite breakfast sandwich inclusions.

Egg with Thai and shishito peppers and green onions, haddock, tomato and shredded romaine.

Egg with shrimp, Thai chilis and basil, green onions on toasted baguette. With a mandarin and a glass of extra spicy Clamato.

Egg with leftover Italian sausage and mushrooms, green onion, pepper jack, tomato and shredded romaine.
