Can anyone recommend containers that will fit in my dishwasher?

Ok that might be a weird criterion, but it matters. I have room in my fridge and cabinets to waste a little space, but I feel like when the weekend comes I need to either clean everything by hand or run several loads through the dishwasher to finally get all my containers clean for lunches for the next week so I'm looking for ones that can be packed in there effectively.

 

Any recommendations?

Are accumulating a week's worth of dirty lunch containers to deal with on the weekend? Otherwise I don't understand why you have this problem. Perhaps you can explain a little more.

Since every dishwasher is laid out differently inside the only way you're going to find out what works best is through trial and error! Just because something works for somebody else doesn't mean it's going to work for you.

What kind of containers do you need for your lunches?

 

I've bought several sets of these and like them very much.

Thanks for the thoughts, everyone!

 

I might just be looking for a solution in an odd direction. I have storage space, fridge space, etc - what I'm trying to save is time. The really tight right-angle sides on most containers means they have to fit facing straight down in the washer, whereas my regular plates and bowls line up nicely. So I thought I'd see if this is an attribute anyone else had thought to optimize for.

I make my own dogs' food and use the large Rubbermaid containers (9-cup) to freeze it.  Seems like any of the square-ish storage containers are difficult to fit into the d/w.  Just like the parts to my big Cuisinart food processor.  My solution many times is to wash by hand.

A 14-piece set for $17.99 is on Woot! today. They do have to go in the dishwasher straight down, though.
