I too suffer from thin skin, what I have recently learned is called senile purpura. I swear if a butterfly lands on me, I will get a nasty looking bruise, Medical terms can definitely lay you low - senile? I was 35 when our twins were born and I was listed on the charts as an "eldery primigravida,"

 No heroic measures necessary.  They just applied nonstick gauze and pressure and sealed me up, giving me enough supplies for the next day change of bandage.   I ordered a slew of first aid products from Walmart yesterday which arrived today so I’m prepared for my next misadventure.

 

FYI, and for what it’s worth, I have had no side effects from the blood thinners.  Stabbing myself twice a day has been a bore but not painful.

Totally understand. I have so many bruises that I am always sequestered and grilled on any abuse situation I would like to discuss with them.
