I have a copy in Denton, Texas. That's about an hour closer to Oklahoma, or as we prefer Occupied Northern Texas, from Dallas. A home cook but with a professional interest (chemist) in that my employer makes instruments for food science.

It was kinda cool to see a PolySci chiller and a rotovac in a kitchen. Mine are all covered with interesting chemicals.

Mine arrived today - also Canada, Calgary AB. Amateur cook and avid foodie. Just spent the night in the Okanagan on Tuesday!

and I will soon be from Calgary.

In the meantime, mine arrived a few weeks ago, from the same neck of the woods as Kerry and Anna, Southern Urban Ontario. I'd consider myself an advanced amateur.

Practice. Do it over. Get it right.

Mostly, I want people to be as happy eating my food as I am cooking it.

Interestingly purchasers so far are mostly home cooks/amateurs. Interestingly I'll be pasing on any practical hints to some real profesional chef friends (e.g. add a bit if old frying oil to new)

this thread is turning into more fun than I expected! Somebody want to make a world map or something in google earth etc? Could be fun to see.

(moat finished, check! Guns purchased, check! Need to get land mines and razor wire next, pack of wolves is on order, laser alarm system set up, I think my copy will be safe!)

Texas appears to take the lead. Dallas here and another non-professional.

Woo hoo! Go Texas!

Of course, I am not helping things by NOT having this book.

Seattle has at least one copy (other than Nathan's)

Another copy located across the lake from Seattle... I'm an amateur, and my wife is a pro.
