A sort-of- solution that creates other problems.  They never said why they were boiling the egg.  If deviled eggs are the goal then they've not solved any problems.

I read this story this morning but in the Guardian, just after boiling my breakfast duck egg in 6½ minutes and thought screw that. A lot of palaver for little gain, if any.

We are all OCD enough about food that we read and contribute to this forum.

But just because you can do it, doesnt mean you should do it. I dont even sous vide my eggs any more...I just cook them and pay attention to time. Life has to go on.....
