I was going to email to Kerry but better to share, just in case another Egulleter ends up in Rimini.

In Borgo San Giuliano, where Fellini was born, close to the Tiberio’s bridge there are various restaurants: Retroborgo for fish, La S romagnola for meat, Nud e Crud for piadina and a good number of “vinerie”. The Sigep is very close to Santarcangelo, there she recommends the Sangiovesa, but there are many nice restaurants around. Visit the newly restored theater Galli in Cavour square. Very famous are for piadiana Lella and patisserie Rinaldini. Book in advance because everywhere is going to be full.

Now waiting for another friend to get back to me.

Dinner tonight with Bianca’s family.

This looks quite amazing and I bet you are happy to have a meal with the family. I hope @Alleguede survived his meeting with his girlfriend’s family with his appetite intact.  Somehow I suspect he did.

When you realize that meal you go to a fine dining restaurant and pay $200+ for is just weeknight dinner to people in Italy. :P

It's kinda like wrestling a gorilla... you don't stop when you're tired, you stop when the gorilla is tired.

Oh, in Romagna but let’s all Emilia Romagna (need to specify that it’s the same region but people take a lot of pride specifying the are emiliani or romagnoli, and especially in the kitchen uhhh, battlefield 🤣) they are known for being foodies.

Good thing we have an Italian speaker with us - there are a lot of details need fixing!

Uh oh! Hope there isn’t too much to fix and that your show goes well.

The breakfast pastries look amazing!

I’m guessing it’s not very warm there from the looks of how the folks are bundled up.  But I’m guessing it’s better than here where are temperature with the windchill factored in is minus 20°C.

I assume that's a blimp shadow being cast on the piadini 🙃

Excellent! Proof there was at least some hot chocolate under all that whipped cream. Was the cream sweetened?
