Yes it was a bit much. I didn't finish it and I'm a 6'.4" bloke with a good appetite. The Beets are of the Tin variety. I have always found that beetroot goes perfect with beef. Enjoy your burger

I would freeze until needed.

Burger night. Not that that's a regular thing. I grounded a Kilo of Chuck to mince. So much better doing it this way & far more satisfying. Note; Burgers In Australia must have Beetroot These included Bacon, Egg, fried Onion, Tomato and some green stuff. Huge.

Thick & hearty Pea & Ham soup. This is such a favorite for us and have been wanting to get it on the table all winter. It's taken till now to find some smoked hocks.

Chicken Thai Green Curry. It was a hot spicy one so I served it two ways. In a bowl with lots of the sauce for me and on a plate for my wife and her friend so as not to be so hot.

Sunday night roast lamb dinner. Including Yorkshire Puddings, Pumpkin, Roast potatoes & Broccoli. No glama shots here. You get the pots & pans and cutting board and mess. I feared I would loose a limb if not served quickly.
