    Dinner 2025

Easier by far is stopping at the deli counter at my corner market. Not Duval’s but itch adequately scratched.
  6. Booooo ! Boooooooo ! and more Booooooo ! just saying.
  7. Is it available , USA ? and if so ,, what is the ' you-know-what' ... ' addition ?' an economic questio , not a political one.
  8. @rotutsThanks! I haven't had an enabling compliment it seems like forever. Maybe try an appliance store?
  9. The interior dimensions are at the bottom of my post.
  10. Thank you, @ElsieD you are quite the Enabler . I looked the manual over , very briefly , and it seems to offer ' steam cleaning ' possibly like the CSO . and Combi-Baking : baking w steam . I stopped reading , and decided I might be drinking early today . I do recall Panasonic had a counter top combi over years ago , then it was possibly withdrawn does not seem to have WiFi , nor BlueTooth , or Apps or App subscriptions . Wow. did not look into the capacity compared to the Anova . I had already started drinking early. but I did go to Amazon and did not find this model ( USA ) but i found this : https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-HomeChef-Convection-Airfryer-Interior/dp/B09TTXN558/ref=sr_1_1?crid=20AOZB2GLRE8K&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.xAJLn66dE8zJDCM_hTHSGw.beKBeS12WkKQ0rdngm4FYbHB8A4trMxIvqGQ1q_1jzo&dib_tag=se&keywords=Panasonic+HomeChef+7-in-1+Compact+Oven+with+Convection+Bake%2C+Airfryer%2C+Steam%2C+Slow+Cook%2C+Ferment%2C+1200+watts%2C+.7+cu+ft+with+Easy+Clean+Interior+-+NU-SC180B&qid=1746556609&sprefix=panasonic+homechef+7-in-1+compact+oven+with+convection+bake%2C+airfryer%2C+steam%2C+slow+cook%2C+ferment%2C+1200+watts%2C+.7+cu+ft+with+easy+clean+interior+-+nu-sc180b+%2Caps%2C242&sr=8-1 no microwave , and I lelt further review for another day . $ 449 mixed reviews
  11. Sounds interesting. The water tank is fairly small, 600 ml, but as long as it’s easy to access, that wouldn’t be a dealbreaker. I couldn’t find the interior dimensions. On the exterior, it’s bigger than my Cuisinart CSO, so I’d expect it’s adequate. Let us know if you get one!

Stir fried noodles with bok choy, oyster mushrooms, scallions, and peppers, topped with a runny egg
  13. I am in Sun Lakes 6mos/yr. I am sure you've been to Barrio bakery in Tucson and I am glad they are in Gilbert - lines are not as long.
  14. No. This pie recipe goes back to Goumet or Bon Appetit to 1980s. It's been copied at lots sites over the years. I remember the first time I made it my late FIL declared it the Perfect Pie. He gifted me both mag subscriptions every Xmas. I made him this pie a few times every year.
  15. I poked around and found some more chocolate shops. https://delysia.com/ https://www.goldeneyechocolates.com/?srsltid=AfmBOor6E_YJ4K5iHDtoDwrqNW0SaFOUxvstbN4Wx2UsGJTpWmIZibj_ https://theecuadorianchocolate.com/contact-us/ We have the https://www.swisschocolateshoppe.com/ (Based in SA and Matt, the owner, will be with us but they also set up at Bartoon Creek Farmers Market, in Austin I believe. If anyone else has additional suggestions, please feel free to add them to this list.

  17. @gulfporter Thank you . agree w you on the vanilla.

OUTER DIMENSIONS: 20 1/4 W X 13/16 H X 16 1/8 D INNER: 13 1/4 X 8 7/8 X 14.14 D When my APO dies for the 4th time, I'll seriously consider one of these. The microwave i used to have was a Panasonic microwave/convection combo and I have nothing but good things to say about it.
  19. This recipe is identical to the one I use with the exception that I substitute VANILLA extract for the ALMOND extract (family preference). I also add juice of 1/2 a lemon into the blueberry mixture. I use a pre-rolled store-bought pie crust because I am lazy. https://pieofthebeholder.com/2011/02/14/pie-12-blueberry-sour-cream-pie/
  20. @gulfporter Wow ! Would you share the Rx for that ? looks like something I might make w pre-made pice crust !
  21. Blueberry sour cream pie with pecan crumble topping.
  22. I used to get those Dorot products and I often look for them but I haven't seen them in years. Too bad too, as I really liked them.
  23. used to be only Tj's carried them . now Tj's no longer caries the basil , just the garlic https://dorotgardens.com/products/ all the major supermarkets here carriy some of the series. MarketBasket has Basil // Cilantro //Garlic / onion / sometimes ginger. they keep forever in the freezer . I use 3 - 4 basil(s) , one garlic for my daily pasta dish I micro them in EVOO until warm and let sit while I do the rest for the linguini.
  24. This is something I hadn't heard of before, so I can't comment on whether they work well. I will note, however, the potential for a neat piece of equipment that will become difficult or impossible, or at least terribly expensive, to repair or replace when necessary. I've managed to ruin one vacuum sealer already (countertop variety) because I wasn't careful enough to keep liquid out of the pump. If that had been built into my oven drawer it might have been a nightmare. As it is, I could easily replace it.

    Lunch 2025

Traveling this week for work and have only a mini fridge and micro so- premade work salad. Allegedly cobb with Bleu cheese dressing. Rounded out lunch with unpictured cottage cheese, apple and pickles.
  26. I've never seen those! I'll have to be on the lookout.
  27. @Shelby Fine work ! I dont think the smaller stems matter much when processed but that might just be me. when you run out , try these :
