I went back over the pages of this discussion and found the list was longer than I had posted.

This should be the current unsolved movies:

1. Peanut butter and ground beef.

Clues: Now, I already mentioned it might be cheating since was only in the movie due to the movie's subject matter...but if you do not hurry, you will not be able to eat this at the location in the film. You will have to use the "recipe" someone posted long ago in eGullet (!!) [Marlene's burger with PB]

2. a ritz cracker and chopped liver

3. French fries and gravy.

4. Eggs, oysters, whipped cream

5. Egg yolk, a turkey drumstick, and birthday cake?

6. "I'll sleep with you for a meatball."

7. a spaghetti-proof bib, two pork chops and a few slaps round the chops........

8. "Say was that a Big Kahuna Burger? That's one tasty MF'er."

9. At the beginning of the film: milk & crackers.

Towards the end of the film: "No milk & crackers."

(Inbetween the two there was gelato, champagne & cold coffee)

10. a bowl of oatmeal on a toddler's head and chewing each bite of food a specific number of times to aid digestion

11. The buttering of a baguette as Sartori.

12. how about a disgusting bony,lethal chinese meal??

13. ".......and a microwave that browns!.......melted cheese, ummmmm I don't

I can't believe this game is still ongoing and that you're coming up with so many examples, especially from movies I've seen but just don't recall in terms of foods mentioned.

For me the challenge is coming up with more weird combinations (twinkies & mustard) or examples from movies not made in Hollywood, color or English. Drawing a blank.

I'm deleting a few items from the quoted list of ten created at 8:11 PM on Feb 9 since they were solved.

1. a ritz cracker and chopped liver

?2. Egg yolk, a turkey drumstick, and birthday cake?--Petit Tete guessed Tampopo, too. Right?

3. a spaghetti-proof bib, two pork chops and a few slaps round the chops........

Sorry, I missed this reply yesterday. But I wasn't thinking of Tampopo. Further clues to this movie: A cook making horrible pancakes and fried eggs while the dancing dishwasher flings plates at him; and eating popcorn while watching the movie Dumbo.

Bravo... one of my favorite films and Serge slicing and buttering the baguette, describing it as his ultimate please "for which the French are envied the world over" is a beautiful scene.

Wow, what a fun game! You guys are blowing me away. I thought I was a movie geek, but am out of my league. I've got to go digging around in my netflix now - sigh.

The tasty MF'r (Big Kahuna Burger) is from Pulp Fiction, and that is my favorite scene in the movie, that and the Royale with cheese, because they have the metric system in Europe.

Let's see - there is:

1. Lemonade, with lots and lots and lots of powdered sugar

2. Cocoa after the manicure

3. Breakfast that froze on the way over here from the damn restaurant

Three movies, one very exceptional leading lady for all three.
