I have an older home with some very deep kitchen cabinets where things get lost/forgotten in. Anyone have experience with hardware for pull out shelves or use the brand rev-a-shelf or have recommendations for other brands? They look like they'd do the job but they're incredibly expensive (https://rev-a-shelf.com/5330-series?#product-selector-option)

Anyone have experience with these or another cheaper option, I just can't find decent reviews/assessments for what to do

I'm not familiar with that brand. I have had some pull-outs, but have had them so long I no longer remember what brand. And I made my own pull-out for the closet I converted to pantry. Got some shelving and attached casters to the bottom. Not the most attractive thing in the world, but it is full of plastic bins so you don't really see it. Was much cheaper than anything pre-made.

We have one of those installed in the cupboard under the sink to hold cleaning products and the like.  Works well.  When we moved here, there was a pantry with deep shelves that we converted to pull-out drawers.  Where we could, we changed all the rest of the cupboards to pull-out drawers as well.  We have a couple of corner cupboards that we couldn't convert and except for the very front, they are a P.I.T.A.

We installed a Rev-A-Shelf pull-out trash can thingie 20 years ago, and it is holding up just fine.

Yes, I realize this is only tangentially related to your question. Good luck!
