@Tropicalsenior Those look really good. What are the red bits I see poking out?

I have no desire to eat anything other than what i eat now, so no change.

Good for him. Just goes to show that often it's the little things that matter.

I too had a mandoline I was afraid to use. I think it was a Bron. In any event, I donated it to the Shepherds of Good Hope's kitchen. They were glad to have it and I went out and bought an Oxo.

You i would always forgive.

Veggies. I know it's been mentioned before but I was googling for something the other day and I didn't see the word vegetables at all. Everywhere I looked i saw "Here a veggie, there a veggie, everywhere a veggie. Old MacDonald etc. I hate the word veggie.

I can't help you with your question, but I can welcome you to the forum. It's a great place.

I didn't buy it. The A4Box was given to me with the extra inserts. (Thank you Kerry)

I too, often think of Anna. I was fortunate enough to have met her in person and she was a wonderful, warm human being.

I bought a book called The Little Book of Takoyaki" Kindle Edition. Some recipes from that book that I want to try include Shrimp and Scallion takoyaki, Pancake and Sausage Pops, Blueberry Muffin Balls, Arancini and Lingonberry Aebleskiver. Should be fun.

I made something called Molten Brownie Bites in the Takoyaki pan tonight. Pictures show them both cooking and the finished product. These are great little fudgy things. When I put the batter in the pan I I inserted chocolate chips in the middle of each one. Eating them warm, as we are doing, and you get that nice melty centre. I've got some other things I want to do with this pan. Fair warning - octopus balls will not be among them.

I have some of those. You need tough soles to wear them.
