I can't help you with your question, but I can welcome you to the forum. It's a great place.

I didn't buy it. The A4Box was given to me with the extra inserts. (Thank you Kerry)

I too, often think of Anna. I was fortunate enough to have met her in person and she was a wonderful, warm human being.

I bought a book called The Little Book of Takoyaki" Kindle Edition. Some recipes from that book that I want to try include Shrimp and Scallion takoyaki, Pancake and Sausage Pops, Blueberry Muffin Balls, Arancini and Lingonberry Aebleskiver. Should be fun.

I made something called Molten Brownie Bites in the Takoyaki pan tonight. Pictures show them both cooking and the finished product. These are great little fudgy things. When I put the batter in the pan I I inserted chocolate chips in the middle of each one. Eating them warm, as we are doing, and you get that nice melty centre. I've got some other things I want to do with this pan. Fair warning - octopus balls will not be among them.

I have some of those. You need tough soles to wear them.

Nice! How long before it will produce figs?

If this is the one where you reduce banana juice, I made it and truthfully, I couldn't tell the difference between that one and others, except for the fact the ATK one was more work. But then, I'm no connoisseur, as I make it for others, not myself.

I looked after Pluto and Oakley, 2 cats in my building for a few days. The couple owned by these cats were away in Montreal, and just picked up their keys. As a thank you, they gave us a bag of Montreal bagels from the St. Viateur Bagel shop, apparently THE bagel shop in Montreal and some special food for Zeus (our cat).

Well, then, that's a boatload of feta. I wonder who (non business) would buy that amount?
-
I assume that was at the Costco Business centre?.

How much butter/oil do you use per pancake?

Flushed with success, I decided to use it today for sausages and eggs. I had a package of 6 square sausages (don't laugh, that's what they are called) that i picked up at the British Store that needed to be cooked. I used the grill pan - they fit perfectly. After they were cooked, I switched to the griddle pan for the eggs. What was handy about the griddle pan was that thanks to the rectangular shape, I could keep 2 of the sausages warm while cooking the scrambled eggs. My new CSO 500 made perfect toast and voilà breakfast was served. Clean-up was easy as nothing sticks. I've made room for it on my counter. Tonight I'll make the batter for yeast-raised pancakes which will make use of the pancake pan. I'm not sure what to do with the takoyaki pan other than to copy @lemniscate' use of it to make meatballs and egg bites. Time to re-read this topic.
