  1. We had the extra large but since we're only 2 people, would have been happy with a smaller one.
  2. One thing I have noticed it that the knobs can get quite hot.
  3. @rotuts See the vent between the top of the oven and the bottom of the cupboard? I can confirm that it's the steam vent.
  4. I made both corn ice cream and roasted strawberry ice cream the other day. Both were good, but the roasted strawberry one knocked our socks off. I had read somewhere that adding a teaspoon of strawberry balsamic vinegar really enhances the strawberry flavour. This particular recipe doesn't need enhancement but it piqued my interest enough to ask here if anyone has tried it? Or maybe another flavoured balsamic vinegar paired with the same fruit?
  5. The only out-of-season tomatoes I'll buy are campari. Their taste at least resembles a tomato.
  6. I can but frozen mango puree with nothing added. Do you think that would work?
  7. I baked a couple of pastries this morning, 20 minutes, Convection Bake 325F. These were perfect, and somehow the texture seemed different from previous bakes in the APO. Lighter, as if they rose better. Hard to explain. Tried the air fryer - will report as soon as I use it again without operator error. Toast continues to amaze.
  8. From the Cuisinart site: Turbo RoastRoast a 5.5 lb (2.5 kg) chicken in 40 minutes with high-speed convection, steam, and air fry.
  9. Just diced 10 pounds of onions. I put a cup in each baggie and freeze them. I HATE chopping onions so this is really handy.
  10. It's no bother.
  11. If @KennethT would like, i can call Customs Monday to find out what the duty, if any, would be.
  12. It is made in China.
  13. Posted Tuesday at 01:18 PM Just for a lark I went to the UPS site to get some idea of shipping costs. My CSO 500 was 16.5" x 22.25" x 17.5 weighing 27.14 lbs., going to Boston to a zip code of 02108. Size and weight were taken from the Costco web site but I don't know for sure if those are the measurements of the box or the unit. But, I figured those who are lusting for one might appreciate some idea of what they would pay for shipping. UPS tells me that would be $95.15 Cdn. $.
  14. I can't access the US site directly from your link, I did get to it by first keying Amazon.com into Google. But, I could not find the info you quoted. The yeast that you linked to is what i have.
