thanks for advice so far

CheGuevara,I do need whole white peaches.

It is for Peche Haberlin. Poached white peach and pistachio

ice cream.

We were going to use Nico's pistachio ice cream recipe which

requires pistachio paste

I will now look on clubchefdirect and in M&s, would be great if they stocked

them. I was thinking maybe borough market ?

Do they grow in the UK ?

Thnks

sarah - if you want to do away with the pistachio paste - you can always flavour the milk with roasted pistachios - it works incredibly well. i've made both pistachio & hazelnut ice-cream in this way, and had truly fantastic results.

haven't seen any white peaches in borough either - but with the summer in full swing, you might be lucky. additionally borough is probably your best bet.

if you do find those peaches, i suggest you buy a few extra and make yourself a good bellini - with a nice prosecco - as most of what passes for bellini's today are "mass produced" imitations.
