Excited to be a part of this mini community. I'm from Vancouver (born and raised). I love all types of food, with Mexican edging out for now!

I was born in St. Paul's but grew up mostly NE of the city - Maple Ridge, Belcarra, Port Moody.

Howdy @jamesyu. Looking forward to hearing more about your interests. The folk here are full of knowledge, in case you have questions too. Welcome!

I lived in Vancouver back in the 80s, mostly on the east side (Commercial Dr area), and my sister still lives there. Lots of good memories.

Welcome @jamesyu

which Mexican cookbooks are you using?
I tend to gravitate with towards Rick Bayless

Jeez I'm not even this sophisticated! I just love food and google any number of different recipes I can find. I'll definitely look into this though. Thank you!
