That could be a few different things really.

 

As a guess, I'd suggest flourless chocolate sponge layers, chocolate buttercream layers and a chocolate ganache glaze

I saw something very much like that in a movie theater recently.  It was called a "Chocolate Yum Burger."

Looks like  Party cake from the 1980  biscuit and cake book I have.

The thing looks yummy, looks like chocolate sponge cake with chocolate layers in between topped by chocolate glaze layer.

Geez my mouth's watering...
