I'm curious. In the picture, fifth from left, is "Offal", then almost dead centre is "Variety Meats". I thought they were the same thing. 

Is one the UK edition and the other the American? Are they the same?

I bought both cause I was under the impression they might contain some different recipes for both countries

are they exactly ( more or less ) the same ?

 

i think Offal was published first then changed to 'variety meats'

 

this were published when the 'market' was still 'white-bread' and suburban.

 

hence no "game" in the US

 

who would want to cook Bambi ?

I am reminded of about a quarter century ago when I found my children going through my set of The Good Cook to decide which volumes each would have when I am dead.
