Cleaning the Stove Top

I just put the grates (and the knobs) in the dishwasher once a week or so, depending on how much use it has gotten and use the stainless steel wipes that come in plastic pop-up "can" to clean the surface.

Occasionally, if there is a spill and something gets burnt on, I spray on Dawn Power Dissolver, walk away for a while, then wipe it off with paper towels and then use the SS wipes and a dry towel to finish.

"There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who say: this glass is half full. And then there are those who say: this glass is half empty. The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!" Terry Pratchett

Who the hell thought grooves on a range was a good decorative feature? Clearly no one who cooks.....

Ditto for all the groves and slots and doodads (sorry, Doodad)and extra bits on everything in the entire kitchen.

Wipe it down after every meal, same as the counters. Both done right after washing any dishes that dont fit in the dishwasher (knives).
