18 amp circuit? That's a really oddball number, usually you have 15 amp, 20 amp (std for kitchen) or 30 amp maybe
I prefer a "white white" (6000k) as opposed to warm white (3000k) as far as color goes, it appears brighter

Breville designs their products in Australia, has them manufactured in China, then sells them worldwide. Their products are generally expensive, but I've found them to be innovative and well made.

Aluminum is used extensively in commercial kitchens because of its fast heating and quick response - it has numerous drawbacks but they are tradeoffs - if you want quote "fast heating and use little energy" then that's the route to go and they are relatively inexpensive

My take:
- definitely work more efficiently with gas because of the vanes which provide a more receptive and in turn more dispersive environment for the gas heat
- however as electric stoves use conductive heat a reduction in the contact area makes it less efficient than if they had a flat bottom
- induction? the jury is out but I would guess the same logic as electric stoves would apply
My take is always susceptible to corrections and outright denials

Way back when (May 27) I posted about requesting a new tank and shield, well it arrived and looks nice - I haven't installed it yet as I've been otherwise busy
