I may be mistake but I could swear that Anthony Bourdain did a piece on this place in one of episodes, maybe 'No Reservations'. Anyway, it was quite the place and the lines to get in were l-o-n-g. -
Sounds wonderfull, were you able to get the veal cutlet? Not available around here, I'd have to substitute.

Dinner tonight will be creamy garlic pasta with oven-roasted shelll-on shrimp and garlic herb baked rolls. A garlic fest.

For those of you who are Netflix subscribers, "Road Runner" is airing now. It's well worth watching if you're a fan.

My last home where I lived for over 14 years had no hood and no exhaust other than the rinky-dink microwave pretend fan. When my new house was being built a hood was a must-have. Worth every penny being as I was deprived for so long.

I'm a big fan of the pinafore style apron since anything against the back of my neck is an irritation. Of course, I usually forget to put one on before splattering my clothing.

I don't know if it would work in your case but I had a filter (Culligan) put on the main water line in my house to remove chlorine and other bits.

Oh gosh, that makes me so hungry....how delicious.

Even more about Anthony Bourdain here.

Oh gosh I just love that idea, I’ve never seen it before. But I’m sure gonna have to try it.

Well yes, I have a similar addiction. Way too many pots and pans that I don’t really need. In fact, head I need ordered a walk recently that I will have to send back because according to Kenji alt it’s inappropriate for my induction cooktop. Probably a good thing is I don’t know where I’d store it because it’s big.

I use these (eG-friendly Amazon.com link) for cast iron and other hard to clean items. Amazingly good scrubbies.

He's a Gem. -
Loved seeing your trip and your great dishes. I am SO envious!

I have mitts like those too and they're the only kind I'll use.

It was amazing. As I said, the aroma was fantastic as well as the flavor. Will definitely make this again very soon. I find rye bread to be pretty tricky; more difficult to get a good result than other types. This one is definitely a keeper. I hope you'll try it.

I've been making my warm weather margaritas with Lunazul. A nice blanco that is reasonably priced here. No complaints.

Well. your post inspired me. I picked the recipe for Seeded Rye Sandwich Bread for KA. It's baking in my Zo as we 'speak' and the aroma is intoxicating. Take a look, it might be just what you're seeking/

I lose things all the time. It's only after replacing the item that I find the original. I think it's one of Murphy's Laws. -
I have an Oxo natural bristle brush that is at least 25 years old; I use it for everything and it's never shed. I do not put it in the d/w. Tried the silicone type and they suck.
