Does sending out some money tip doesn't look good? I tried it once and I am not sure if its appropriate.

I agree that some of these restaurants doesn't really put too much effort on making their website better or good looking because I think some of their owners just doesn't care about the market they can get online. Also they really need to consider getting a mobile-friendly website because of the technology today. And yes, music on websites sucks big time. It's really annoying.

I haven't tried putting salt in my coffee and I never wondered about how will it taste like. With regards to what I have read on the replies, I am not sure if I am going to try it. I don't really think it's a good idea anyway.

Wow that's a lot of good input there. Well for me, I don't normally use a teabag twice but when I do, I notice that the taste doesn't lessen that much. I think it also depends on what kind of tea are you using. And yeah, one tea bag is not that expensive I think to you use it twice.

I'm drinking some green tea that my mom gave me the other day. It was good but not the best. I am actually craving for Alamid coffee. It's been a while since I last got one. I'd probably get one in 2 weeks but I can't wait. I'll just go with my green tea for the mean time.

Agree on that. But I think making a request for substituting a small amount of ingredients or any small part of the menu to be changed is okay, as long as it is not too much to ask. Let's say for example, you can ask for a mashed potato instead of rice in a steak meal. Simple things like that I think is okay.

I'll probably treat my Mom on a nice restaurant. I'm still thinking where. I won't have time to prepare a dish because of my current work sched.

I noticed that one too. There are only few restaurants or places that I think serves really good carbonara here in my place. I wonder how carbonara tastes like in Italy.

I love squids but I haven't tried eating some boiled squids ever. I thin I should try it out one time. My favorite squid recipe is a grilled squid stuffed with tomatoes, garlic and onions inside.

Wow. I think that's pretty hard decision on how to preserve it. I guess they will not be okay to eat in a few weeks or a month. I've tried storing a few salted eggs before in a refrigerator and it got rotten and had a bad smell after a few weeks. How about experimenting some recipes where you can use some of those salted eggs?

I love canned sardines too! I am actually craving for one now. I haven't tried any recipe out of the canned sardines but just the usual omelet with onions and tomatoes.

@judiu: Just some super old cook books from my mom but some of them are still good, some of them are from my uncle who used to love buying cookbooks when he is still alive.. Anyway, I'm thinking of buying some new cook books this month and start from there.

If I'm a kid and the school won't allow me to bring my own lunch and own choice of food, I'll cry all day until they bring back the policy.

Wow. It's been a while since I last eaten a Thai Green Curry recipe. I am having a hard time cooking curry anyway but I have tried it a few times. Maybe I should practice more then.

Well before, I used to eat everything and I don't care how the skin of the chicken looks like or taste like. But as of the moment, when I eat a chicken, I don't eat the skin anymore because of some health/calorie issue. AnnaN's chicken skin looks perfect for me!
