Well I think Senior Discounts should be a general rule to all restaurants and establishments to serve as a courtesy to the elderly. That move of the waitress is not really polite and I find it a bit rude even though it is for your own compliment to have a discount.

Maybe it's a standard thing? That what he mean about that 'can cook' thing is the standard or level of how a chef cook? Just my thoughts.

On my part of the world, I see many restaurants and even McDonalds use Heinz Ketchup. So I think I'd stick to that, doesn't really a big deal. They're both good.

I love soft-serve ice cream! Specially DQ's Butternut flavor.

I never tried to learn how to make a sushi. But I would love to learn how to do it too. Yes it looks very simple in appearance, but I love sushi!

I think if it is too loud or noisy that you can't barely even hear each other talk, then I think that it is not a good choice even if the food is good. I remember meeting with friends in a bar & restaurant for a reunion and the place is a bit popular in the area. The restaurant is not that loud and not that quiet as well, but the service and food is so good. I think if its too loud, it should really compensate with the food and service.

The food in the photo looks really great! I am going to visit there for a month this October and I hope I can eat all in those restaurants and check all those foods! I am going to start making a list now of what I should visit and try. Wonderful photos!

Too bad seems like there are only few here who are familiar with the best food location there in Dubai. How did it go? Care to share any of your experiences there? I would love to hear some. Planning to go there probably next year.

You should have tried other local menu like, "Kare-Kare", "Bicol Express", "Laing", Etc. I think it is called Crispy Kangkong if I am not mistaken. Did you happen to take some photos? That's a very good choice. Sofitel's Spiral Buffet Dinner is fab as well. Try that next time. Seafood market is indeed a good place to dine if you are really into the whole seafood thing and doesn't have allergies on shrimps and clamps. Glad you enjoyed your stay and the food. There are a lot more to offer.

I love Clif Bars and Mojo bars, but most of the time, I get Snickers. I am just not sure if it also serves as Energy bars.

I absolutely agree on this one. And maybe that will show how skilled the server is. But I think this is difficult to pull off at first, maybe there are just some servers who loves their job so much that they put their self in the position of the customers and in that way, they provide such a wonderful service just like memorizing the orders that you take. And I admit I applaud those servers who can pull this thing.

Wow. I wish we have those kinds of restaurants here in my part of the world. But I am not sure if that idea is good. I am not even sure if they will profit more than what they invested?
