Well the sprouts date ya I left the dog with my kid in a canyon once when he sprained ankle (the kid)- got back with help and dog was chowing down on "windfall avos". Supposedly not good for canines but he was a big dog.

Yeast is on the way but meanwhile David Lebovitz's whole grain soda bread was whispering in my ear. Has anyone made it? No lemons I can reach - picker MIA, - lots of oranges. Is that acidic enough? Plan on craisins v. raisins (none here). Only "milk" I have is unsweetened almond milk. There is some cottage cheese I could buzz. Thoughts? https://www.davidlebovitz.com/whole-wheat-wholewheat-irish-wholegrain-soda-bread/

That chard is speaking loudly to me I recall a young boy down the street who told me his grammy grew it and he loved it with "a bit of butter".

I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Seeds are warriors. Tom always nails it. With the zip bag - be vigilant about humidity - a tiny crack open , may be needed. Show what happens

Kudos to dh and his grill skill. Sawdust" is the descriptor that comes to mind with turkey.

Host's note: this topic began as a side discussion in Salad Books. I find that the older books and magazines show us that we are not "all that" on the innovation front. Old Sunsets from the 70's fit into today as an example

Good they have strong opinions. I was so taken when mine (29 the other day) told his kindergarten teacher lobster was his favorite food. Very integrated community but nobody else chose that!

Another very small batch. The kumquats are gone - that was 2 great jars. So a big lemon and couple oranges off trees roughly chopped and soaked overnight with water and a hint of salt. Simmered with sugar this morning, Nice balance of bitter and citrus sweet. I am thinking just a touch of fresh ginger for next batch.

I can report that Instacart shoppers do get to know ya. I have posted before about some wow experiences. Absolutely not an ideal business plan. My connected ones text me pics of sensible versus the app subs and today showed how crappy the onions looked so we agreed - nope. The customized tipping reportedly works.

My rye experience as well. The most old school diner like my local offers it up as routine. https://www.restaurantji.com/ca/lomita/hot-n-tot-/
