  1. How about a cold left-over spaghetti sandwich? My mom would make a sandwich out of cold left-overs like spaghetti or navy beans or potato salad, but in these instances always one slice of bread folded over. Mmm, carbs and carbs. OMG How Japanese

  4. I generally hate Greek yogurt (I know I know) as it feels funny in my mouth and it has a metallic taste to me, BUT the Dannon is pretty good. Ill stick with regular Dannon though.

I really never thought this topic would be so "partisan"! 1) I was always under the understanding that a double sink was that one side was for WASH and the other was for RINSE. 2) You guys are correct in that wildlife poops etc on vegetables in a garden, after all the Odwalla brand juice ecoli scare was caused by deer poop infesting the raw juice with ecoli. 3) Even if you clean the walls and floor of a sink very well, its always that groove in the drain and the stopper that can come back to bite you. You cannot clean that effectively. 4) Remember that even big bag salad companies have had issues with food poisoning even though they triple wash their greens. 3 & 4 are the reasons I dont put food Im gonna eat in the sink.
  14. I dont know why I torture myself watching Rachael Ray (or Christina Cooks) but I stupidly watch everyday. I call it Cooking Show Rubbernecking. Anyway Rachael Ray does something that bugs the crap outta me. Everytime she uses salt, she also picks some up out of the salt pig and throws it over her shoulder...for luck. And cheerily says, "Over the shoulder for luck." First of all not only is this a big mess for her in house janitors to clean up, but shes got this superstition all wrong... First of all lets get into the facts behind this superstition... Centuries ago salt was the only way to preserve meats and it was hard to get, so anytime you wasted or spilled some it was bad luck and so if you spilled some you were to pick up a pinch of what had been spilled and toss it over your shoulder to blind the devil who was sneaking up on you to curse you. You were ONLY supposed to toss some of what you spilled over your shoulder, NOT new unspilled salt and certainly NOT everytime you used salt. Salt was MONEY back then. So it is like throwing money away. I hate to think people are mimicking Rachael by doing this.

Hi, I keep hearing Rachael Ray telling her viewers that "its cheaper to buy all your veggies in the start of the week bring them all home and fill your kitchen sink up with water and throw em all in and wash them dry them and bag them as soon as you get home so they are good to go all week..." I dont know about YOU but I put dirty dishes & raw chicken trays in there. My son washes his gross hands in there after coming inside. The kitchen sink is where all the yukky germy things go.. I certainly dont wanna pt raw veggies in there that I will be eating raw later. My ex mother in law once put a raw head of cabbage straight on the sink floor to maker stuffed cabbage at my house and I was nauseated and shocked, I made her throw that leaf away and I got a plate for her to put it on instead. Am I the odd one out or does everyone use their sinks this way?

Its called Super Bazaar, its on Main Street Its right up the road in Jeffersonville from the Golf club and the 7-11 Its huge, clean, and the rice and ice cream selection is humungous! Literally 30 different Indian flavors of ice cream! They have everything.

Otherwise I dont see the point in spoon rests cause you either clean the counter or you clean the spoon rest. Whats the point?
