Okay I remade the Ackee and Saltfish with a proper piece of salt cod and Im ashamed I ate the entire frying pan full. It was so good! I ate it with fried plantain... So my recommendation (if it is worth anything) is, if you MUST buy a BAGGED saltfish, make sure its not in anyway WET inside that bag or buy some REAL salt cod thats loose in a box

Is there any reason why a handheld UV light sanitizing germ killer like you can buy on Amazon, can be used to kill salmonella and eColi in foods? Ive seen two sites saying YES, but Im unsure if they are ads in hiding... Im also unsure if the UV light penetrates the food, like deep inside steak... What say you?

On the Wiki page for Foods of the World they list two different Middle Eastern cookbooks Cooking of the Middle East and Middle-Eastern Cooking They have separate ASIN numbers too B001D10D3Y B000ZLZVWQ Is this just accounting for the fact that it is a 2 book set?

Could it be the way Maangchi does her breading for fried chicken? She puts Potato starch and eggs in the bowl with the seasoned chicken wings and mixes it by hand till its a gloppy, but delicious, mess and then fries the wings Here I made these for a potluck and that breading was not falling off

I bought non frozen Salted Whiting roe... I didnt realize that it said Whiting till I got home. Is this the same as the Mentaiko for Cod Roe Spaghetti? Yet Wikipedia says Mentaiko is Pollack Roe. Which one is Mentaiko, Whiting, Cod or Pollack?

Okay I bought some Ramp seeds... Where should I plant them and does anyone have any tips? If Im successful Ill probably do some heavy Guerilla Seeding around my township so that maybe I can bring a Ramp festival to my town and get some revenue to reduce taxload.
