  9. IndyRob? If you have a big box Asian mkt near you, there is USUALLY an Asian bakery inside the food court, GO! OMG some of those pastries are divine! Aside from the real butter cronuts, you may see a curry donut, Japanese cheesecake, Mocha and cornbread layer cake, etc. One of my all time fave baked goods is this Korean sweet bread that is in the shape of an Italian loaf, with Mochi and green peas inside and a crumb almond topping...I have no clue what its called though.

  12. look, you can saute in the instant pot without the lid, put some oil in it and crank it up to high and test the temp of the oil and see if it gets up to chicken frying temp, and voila! you can use it to fry chicken without the lid.

  15. I looked on the Instant Pot website and couldnt find frying instructions but I did see that you can use it for Sous Vide... BTW KFC pressure fries chicken. The only way you will know if the Instant pot fries is to put oil in it and try it out.You arent gonna break it

  20. Okay, Im reading some of these recipes, and Im gonna be bitchy here but look if I see one more sandwich being made on tv where the mayo is spread on the filling and NOT the bread Ill scream! The mayo only belongs on the bread dagnammit! Its as bad as seeing people make PB&Js where they spread the jelly on the Peanut Butter. you cannot get proper coverage and distribution when the slippery ingredient is spread on the slippery ingredients..Not to mention that if you need more "spread" you will contaminate the jar or need to dirty another knife or spoon.
