  1. Helen? the woman who wrote and lived the Little House on the Prairie series of books and tv shows, Laura Ingalls Wilder used to take her Pa "vinegar-ade" while he was out on the fields farming in the early 1800s Lemonade was rare in those days. When I was at the Asian market on Sunday they had a boxed set of fruity vinegars for drinking. They look like this http://www.hmart.com/shopnow/shopnow_newsub.asp?p=880105201127
  2. Apparently, yes. He studied in France ...who knew? http://www.biography.com/people/guy-fieri-20688753#synopsis
  3. Okay I bought a jar at Wegmans... Giant of Pa and Acme do not have them (so you dont waste time) I went to the Asian mkt today cause Im making Jal Jeera and Rojak Buah Petis and I bought a fried whole mackerel so these peppadews cut the oiliness of the fish perfectly on the side... So good....Perfect in every way. Can t wait for my son to ask for a samich so I can put some of them on his plate. They are like a combo of the sweet peppers and hot pepper rings they put on hoagies in the Philly area.
  4. I only like DDD, I dont watch GFs other shows. I am 100% certain Flay and Conant are better chefs than GF. but I still am saddened by how Bobby treated Jack McDavid on Grillin and Chillin', I think it was his treatment of Jack that started the whispers of Bobby being a prick. As for Scott Conant, if a person served Scott a perfectly cooked Cincinnati Five Way Chili on Chopped, Scott would take off points for the raw onions, even though they are an integral part of the dish hed take off points for personal preference of hating raw onions! Thats wrong IMO.
  5. Okay, see this is what I wanna hear. I never heard a single bad thing about him so I just didnt understand the douche comments. But if hes treating people like crap that is douchey.
  6. Gfweb? the hair and glasses, IMO, makes him a 1980s "dude"...I wanna see his yearbook pics... Flay treated that other bbq grill guy (cant recall his name) on their show like crap... I see douche there. HAHA, Guy Fieris yearbook pics http://www.youjustmademylist.com/?p=4106
  7. What makes Guy Fieri a douchebag? I see Flay and Conant more as douchebags

  11. Hi, I had never used Avocado Oil before, I used some today. I LOVE AVOCADOS. However that Avocado Oilis bitter and has the flavor of oil fryer grease from a diner. Is this normal? I see people use it all the time on tv. Expiration date is Nov, 2015

  21. Im naming names... I once got a birthday cake at Acme mkts in the Philly area...omg the coloring flavor was so strong and fake and bitter. but all the cakes at Giant of Pa (there are 3 different Giants in the USA) are soooo so good. You cannot taste anything but the delicious buttercream and cake. Ive noticed that the colors fade after a few days in their cake freezer, but not the ones at Acme... Can you red tasters taste the red in a red velvet?
